The factory behind the bag
Halden Bagworks is a bag manufacturer in Guangzhou producing for wholesale brands, retailers and distributors. We keep sampling, cutting, stitching and inspection in one building so nobody has to guess where a problem started.
Our approach
A bag is decided long before the first stitch
Most production problems come from a specification that was never finished — a lining weight that was never chosen, a handle anchor that was never drawn. Our pattern team reviews every brief against a construction checklist before a cost sheet is issued.
That review often adds a few days at the start and saves weeks later. It also means the sample we send you can actually be produced at your target quantity, at the agreed cost, without changing material halfway through.
We work with brands of every size, from a first run of 150 clutches to repeat programmes of 20,000 units a year. The process is the same either way.

A single cutting table
Halden opens as a four-person sampling atelier supplying local leather goods brands.
First export order
The first container of canvas totes ships to a Scandinavian retail group.
In-house pattern room
Pattern making, grading and sample stitching move under one roof to shorten revisions.

rPET canvas and recycled polyester become standard options across the tote and backpack ranges.
